These are specific directions from several different areas in Florida.  If you need further directions not listed, please call us. You may use Mapquest or other online map services, but many of our customers have told us they are very misleading.  We are open Mon thru Sat from 8:30am to 5:30pm and Sunday from 9am to 2pm. If you are cruising during a holiday period, you may want to call our office just to make sure there are no street closures due to downtown Sanford holiday events.       

FROM ORLANDO/TAMPA VIA I-4

(When using these directions use ONLY Exit #101BC (Sanford/Mt. Dora Exit) Take I-4 East to Sanford/Mount Dora Exit # 101BC. The exit will split off to exit 101B or 101C..... MAKE SURE TO TAKE EXIT 101C. At end of exit ramp, turn right, going East onto S.R.46. Drive 4miles into downtown Sanford. Stay on S.R. 46 and after you cross through the intersection of S.R. 46 & Hwy 17/92, continue on to the 2nd traffic light (Palmetto Ave) & turn Left. The ship is 2 ½ blocks on the right.

FROM ORLANDO/KISSIMMEE VIA ROUTE 417 (GREENWAY)

Take Route 417 North to Exit #50. At the end of the ramp turn right onto Hwy 17/92. Drive about 3miles into downtown Sanford, noticing that the street signs are numbered starting at 27th Street and going down to 1st Street (8th traffic light) Turn right onto 1st Street (Sign reads First Street/ S.R.46) Turn Left onto Palmetto Ave. The ship is 2 ½ blocks on the right.

FROM ORLANDO ON HWY 17/92

Take Hwy 17/92 North into Sanford. After you pass Flea World on the right you will notice the street signs are numbered starting at 27th street and going all the way down to 1st Street. Turn right onto 1st Street and drive to the 2nd traffic light and turn left onto Palmetto Ave. The ship is 2 ½ blocks on the right.

FROM DAYTONA/ JACKSONVILLE VIA I-95

Take I-95 South to I-4 West to Sanford/Mount Dora Exit # 101C. At end of exit ramp, turn left, going East onto S.R. 46. Drive 4 miles into downtown Sanford. Stay on S.R 46 and after you cross through the intersection of S.R. 46 & Hwy 17/92, continue on to the 2nd traffic light (Palmetto Ave) & turn Left. The ship is 2 ½ blocks on the right.

FROM MELBOURNE/MIAMI VIA I-95

Take I-95 North to Exit #223 (Mims). Turn left going West onto S.R. 46 . Drive about a half an hour into Sanford to Sanford Ave. ( There is a large fruit & vegetable stand on the right hand side.) Turn right onto Sanford Ave. Drive about a mile through a residential area into downtown Sanford until Sanford Ave dead-ends at the Lakefront. Turn Left onto Seminole Blvd and make the first right hand turn into the marina (Palmetto Ave.) Make an immediate right into our parking lot.

FROM MT. DORA VIA S.R. 46

Take S.R. 46 East towards Sanford. After you drive under I-4, drive 4 miles into downtown Sanford. After you cross through the intersection of S.R. 46 & Hwy 17/92, continue on to the 2nd traffic light, (Palmetto Ave) and turn Left. The ship is 2 ½ blocks on the right.

Take HWY 17/92 south through Debary and over the 17/92 bridge towards the Central Florida Zoo.   Once you pass the Zoo, Lake Monroe will be on your Left Hand Side.    Drive approximately 3 miles around the lake, keeping the lake on your left.   After you pass the hospital and water treatment plant which will be on your right, 17/92 starts to curve to the right towards downtown or there is a cut-off to the left towards the marina.  You want to make sure to take that cut-off to the left, still keeping the water on your left.   You will be on a brick street, Seminole Blvd and soon come up to a traffic circle.  Take a semi-circle half way around the traffic circle and still keeping the water on your left, drive to the yellow flashing light at Palmetto Ave.  Turn left onto Palmetto Ave and you will be entering the Lake Monroe Marina Island.   The ship will be on your right and the office will be at the end of the first parking lot.  There is a big sign on the roof of the office, which reads ROMANCE.  

IT IS ALWAYS BEST TO CALL US TO CONFIRM YOUR DIRECTIONS CLOSE TO THE DAY OF YOUR CRUISE, AS OCCASIONALLY DIFFERENT STREETS IN SANFORD ARE CLOSED FOR DOWNTOWN FUNCTIONS, CELEBRATIONS, ETC.
