Respect takes a funny exuberant look at the lives of women as reflected in the music that played through the decades! Written by popular music authority Dorothy Marcic (and based on her book Respect: Women and Popular Music), this hit international production chronicles the lives of women throughout the 20th century, as played out against the songs we were all listening to during the various periods of our lives. The musical features a fabulous ensemble of four with live music, and a bevy of the best songs from the last century including I Wanna Be Loved By You, Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend, Whatever Lola Wants, These Boots are Made for Walkin’, Born a Woman, I will Survive, Hero, Video and of course R-E-S-P-E-C-T!
