Local Rivership Makes A Fateful Voyage Up The Haunted St. Johns River . Friday Nights In October.

SANFORD , FL – September 1, 2005

October of 1985

On a dark and unfortunate night, 20 years ago 12 members of a para-psychologist team, including a 15 year old medium, set sail from Monroe Harbor in Sanford on a Halloween Cruise with 88 tourists and passengers who were along for “The ride of their life,” to witness the ghosts of the St. Johns River.

When the boat drifted back into the harbor late that night, crashing headlong into the docks, the crews only found one person – a 15 year old boy, hiding in the hold – crying out only two words: a name, Maggie Bell.

No one has ever been found or heard from again…88 passengers, 11 members of the parapsychologist team and all 14 members of the staff of the Rivership.

Gone forever.
